1/30th Scale
Skill Level 3

This is TMRK's first kit.  Here is the original test version of one of NASA's oldest launch vehicles that was still in use up until a few years ago.  In this version, at 72' (21.9m) high, this 4-stage launch vehicle had 107,200 lbs. (476,850n) of thrust at liftoff.  It could carry a payload of 570 lbs. (260kg) into low earth orbit, or a payload of 85 lbs. (39kg) to the moon.  This kit employs a variety of modeling skills, including a paper wrap reducer and tail cone.  Long, slender and impressive, this 1/30th scale kit is fun and challenging to build, and makes a great addition to your scale collection.
