OSC PegasusHere is some preliminary info and pictures for our upcoming 1/10th scale OSC Pegasus. The three main fins are made of just 2 pieces-the laser cut 1/4"
thick aircraft ply fin & wedge-shaped aileron stock attached to the leading
edge. The wing is made from two 1/4" thick basswood triangles and 4 pieces of
the wedge-shaped aileron stock. The saddle is made from 7 pieces of 1/16"
basswood cut from the template. The small tail cone is typical & straight
forward, and the motor mount is made from 1/4" laser-cut aricraft ply rings,
metallic-lined heavy duty motor tube. It will hold the Estes D & E engines,
along with all 24mm reloadables, making this a great mid-power kit flying off
just about anything from an Estes D motor to an F-39 reload! |
